Bauchi south senator Buba appoints Comrade Sabo as SA Media & Communication

The Senator representing Bauchi South at the national assembly, Senator Shehu Buba Umar has appointed Comrade Sabo Muhammad as his Special Adviser on Media and communication.

The appointment of Muhammad, a Bauchi-based Public Affairs Analyst was contained in a letter dated 22nd July, 2025 and was personally signed by the senator, Shehu Buba Umar.

Until his appointment, Comrade Sabo Muhammad, from Bauchi local government area has been a loyal member and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Comrade Sabo who is also the former senior special assistant to former Bauchi state governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar Esq, also served as Chairman of the media and publicity committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi.

“It gives me a great pleasure to inform you that I, Senator Shehu Buba Umar,
have offered you an appointment as a Special Adviser Media and
Communication”, the letter said.

It pointed out that the appointment is at the Senator’s pleasure and that it does not have statutory flavour.

According to the appointment letter, the salary of the appointee shall be determined by the senator which may be on monthly basis.

“It is worthy of note also that this appointment takes immediate effect subject to your acceptance by signing a copy of this letter within a week of receipt of same”, the Senator said.
