Dambam PDP chairman passes vote of confidence on LG chairman, councillors

The chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dambam local government area of Bauchi state, Isah Usama has passed a vote of confidence on the executive chairman and councillors of the local government for the effective discharge of their constitutional duties.
Usama who spoke in an interview with our correspondent, commended the local government chairman implementing people oriented government since assumption of office six months ago.
According to him, the LG chairman and his Council members have been diligently piloting the affairs of Dambam in line with the vision of Governor Bala Mohammed.
He stressed that the LG chairman and the councillors have been trying their best in terms of providing dividends of democracy to the people of the area.
“The chairman and his councillors are working. To my knowledge, I know that with the support of the council members he donated drugs to patients across 16 wards of the LG”, Usama disclosed.
He said, apart from that, the Hon chairman has sponsored a reasonable number of less privileged children to tertiary institutions.
The party chairman added that the LG chairman has provided a transformer for the people of Lailai and Dambam community which is at the verge of been put to usage.
“Another transformer has been provided to the people of Birniwa. These kind of interventions is been carried out because the chairman knew what our youth are passing through, and now that I am talking with you, he is preparing to support the youth with farming inputs for both dry and rain-fed season farming”, Usama announced.
“This is because he wants to empower them for the progress and development of not only Dambam LG or Bauchi state alone, but the country as a whole”, he said.
The LG PDP chairman said the LG chairman has constructed abbatour in Jalam town and has also assisted many of the citizens with various sums of money to be establish businesses or support the existing ones.
Usama further noted that the local government chairman has also shouldered payment of medical bills of some less privileged people amounting to thousands of naira.
The LG party chairman who felicitated with Governor Bala Mohammed on the occasion of this year’s Ramadan fasting period, prayed Allah to bless him abundantly for distributing food items to the Muslim faithfuls.
“We are praying that Allah will make you the president of Nigeria after your second tenure as Bauchi Gov”, he said.
He called on the PDP members to accommodate one another as well as accept and accommodate people who are living their various political parties for the PDP.
Usama therefore, pledged continued loyalty of Dambam people to the People’s Democratic Party, promising that Dambam will deliver all the elective positions in 2027 like it did in 2023.
