After Live Broadcast, Bauchi Hospital Board Promise Posting Medical Doctor to Misau Gen Hospital

The Bauchi state Hospital Management Board has pledged to post a certified Medical Doctor to the Misau General Hospital, Misau local government area of the state.

This milestone development is coming after a recent Live interview conducted by Baushe Daily Times Online Newspaper and Television, featuring Hon. Bakoji Aliyu Bobo, the State Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State.

During the program, Baushe Times inquired about the status of General Hospital Misau, and in response, Hon. Bobo stated that the matter concerns a temporary arrangement.

He explained that the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, had approved Misau town Maternity as the location for a temporary General Hospital, pending the construction of a modern facility in the near future.

Following the interview, the Editor of Baushe Times contacted the Chairman of the Bauchi State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Sambo Alkali, via phone, during which he confirmed that a medical doctor would be deployed to the temporary site of the General Hospital Misau.

He further assured that both clinical and non-clinical staff would resume their duties at the temporary site, noting that the hospital currently has over 200 staff members on its payroll.

Dr. Alkali called on the people of Misau Local Government to be patient and continue supporting the government in the implementation of its health policies and other development programs.
