Giade LG chairman gifts 13 motorcycles to Council Members

The executive chairman of Giade local government area, Honourable Usman Muhammad Sale (Randy) Wazirin Jawo has distributed 13 motorcycles to councillors across wards of the local government.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, the chairman said the gesture was meant to replicate what Governor Bala Mohammed was doing for the citizens of Bauchi state.

“His Excellency, the Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed gave us vehicles to help us in carrying out our responsibilities, that is why I am following his footsteps by providing all our 13 council members in Giade local government with brand new motorcycles”, he said.

The local government chairman who advised the councillors to use the motorcycles for the purpose it was meant for, urged them to always interface with their various wards with a view to listening to their plights.

Also, the chairman promised to give them monthly mantainance allowance in order keep the motorcycles fit for their daily official engagements.

In his contribution, the PDP chairman of Giade local Government, Alh Manu Kura, called on the council members to use the motorcycle judiciously.

In his remarks, the Leader of the Councillors, Hon Ahmed Shehu Zabi of Zabi ward, expressed appreciation to the executive chairman for the gesture, and assured him of hundred percent cooperation to enable him fulfil the promises made during electioneering campaigns.

The distribution ceremony witnessed the presence of the Chairman of Giade local government and his deputy, the local government party chairman, Alhaji Manu Kura Giade, other stakeholders, local government staff, PDP members across the local government and the general public.
