Bauchi Police Arrest Suspected Motorcycle Thief

The Bauchi State Police Command has apprehended a suspect, Abdulrahman Ibrahim, in connection with the theft of a black Haojue ladies’ motorcycle valued at ₦250,000.
The motorcycle’s owner, Hafiz Yaro Ahmed, had reported the incident at the Area Command Office, Bauchi Metropolis, on October 22, 2025.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ahmed Mohammad Wakil, a team of detectives was assigned to investigate the case and track down the culprit.
He said Abdulrahman Ibrahim, a resident of Gwallaga area in Bauchi, was arrested in possession of the stolen motorcycle and confessed to the crime, stating he intended to dismantle it and sell the parts as scrap.
CSP Wakil said the case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and possible prosecution, as directed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu.
The police urge the public to report any suspicious activities or potential criminal movements to the nearest police station.
