Shira/Giade Rep Sani Congratulates Sarkin Isawa, Receives Traditional Title of Kaigaman Isawa

The Member representing Shira/Giade Federal Constituency, Hon. Sani Ibrahim Tanko, has paid a congratulatory visit to the newly appointed Sarkin Isawa, Alhaji Abubakar Jidda Abdulkadir, following his turbaning as the new village head of Isawa.
Speaking during the visit at the Sarkin Isawa’s palace, Hon. Sani Tanko said, “We are here to join millions of Nigerians in congratulating you on your well-deserved appointment and turbaning as the new Sarkin Isawa. I assure you of my full support, and we acknowledge your past contributions to the development of our community.”
Hon. Sani also commended the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir (Kauran Daular Usmaniyya), for upgrading Isawa’s traditional status, noting that it is now the responsibility of the people to support the Governor’s administration and policies.
In his remarks, the PDP Chairman of Giade Local Government, Alhaji Manu Kura, said they joined the lawmaker’s entourage to register their congratulations to Sarkin Isawa on his elevation from village head to district head.
“We are proud of this historic development. Isawa had long been marginalized in traditional affairs, but Governor Bala Mohammed changed that. Today, we have both a district and an emirate. Thank you, Your Excellency,” he said.
In his appreciation speech, the new Sarkin Isawa, Alhaji Abdulkadir Jidda Abubakar, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the success of his appointment and the elevation of the palace. He also thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for his decisive role in the process.
“Before now, we faced many challenges, but today, we are in a much better position. I assure His Excellency that the people of Isawa and Giade Local Government will continue to support his policies and development agenda,” Sarkin Isawa stated.
As a mark of honor, Sarkin Isawa conferred the traditional title of Kaigaman Isawa on Hon. Sani Ibrahim Tanko.
Among the dignitaries at the occasion were former PDP Chairman Alhaji Auwalu Mai Doya, PDP Women Leader of Giade LGA, Alhaji Babangida Tafida, and several stakeholders.
