Misau Emirate Students Association Inaugurates New National Leadership

The Misau Emirate Students Association (MESA) National Body has officially sworn in Comr. Usman Abdullahi Usman as its National President, alongside other newly elected executive officers.

A press release made available to newsmen by the Publicity Secretary of the Association, Comrade Musa Muhammad Bakoji on Monday, said the inauguration came following a peaceful and transparent national convention and election held on Monday at MESA National Secretariat, Fawari Primary School, Misau, Bauchi State.

It said, Comr. Usman, a law student at the University of Maiduguri, was elected National President, while Muhammed Aliyu Abbakolo of Sa’adu Zungur University was elected Vice President I.

According to the press release, while Comr. Salma Idris Muhammed, also of Sa’adu Zungur University, was elected Vice President II, fourteen other members were elected to serve in various capacities.

The publicity secretary said the election was hailed as one of the most credible in MESA’s history, reflecting the association’s commitment to the values of unity, service, and excellence.
