Giade LG sponsors 10 female students to study Nursing, midwifery

The executive chairman of Giade local government area of Bauchi state, Hon. Usman Muhammad Sale (RANDY) has sponsored 10 female students to study Nursing and midwifery at Aliko Dangwate School of Nursing and midwifery Bauchi.
The local government chairman who disclosed this at the local Government secretariat on Friday, said his administration is sponsoring the young girls to undergo Nursing and midwifery courses in order to address maternal and child mortality rate in Bauchi state.
“It is our primary responsibility to educate our people at the grassroot, from the ward to local government levels in line with our campaign promises”, the chairman said.
According to the chairman, they had while campaigning, pledged to provide a healthy environment for the communities.
Hon. Sale stated that the local government secured the admission and also paid for the registration, accommodation.
He added that the local government will equally shoulder the responsibility of the students from beginning to the end of their study.
While advising the beneficiaries to read hard to succeed and make the local government proud, the chairman said they will not be happy to see them fail to succeed.
The chairman appealed to the people of the area to pray for Allah to help the students to excel in their studies and come back with good results at the end of the programme.
