Governor Mohammed Reprimand Giade Emir’s Classmate for sitting besides him

Bauchi State Governor’s public reprimand of secondary school classmate for sitting next to the Emir of Giade has sparked controversy.

During a condolence visit over the recent passing away of former Chief Judge of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko in Doguwa, Giade local Government, Governor Bala Mohammed angrily ordered the classmate, Alhaji Abdullahi Yari to vacate the seat, questioning his audacity to sit beside the emir.

The incident, captured in a widely circulated video, showed the classmate hastily leaving the seat to sit on the floor.

Governor Bala emphasized the emir’s elevated position, stating the emir who used to be a brother is now “a father to him” and shouldn’t be toyed with”.

The Governor vehemently expressed anger over the attitude of the Emir’s Classmate for not honoring the traditional institution.
