FMC Nguru Mourn Victims of Garbi Tragic Boat Mishap

The management and staff of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Nguru, under the leadership of its Medical Director, Professor Hadiza Abdullahi Usman has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic boat accident that occurred in Garbi Ward, Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Recall that the recent tragic incident claimed several lives and left families and communities in mourning.

In a condolence message issued by the institution, FMC Nguru described the incident as heartbreaking and a devastating loss to the people of Yobe North.

The statement extended heartfelt sympathy to the families of the deceased, the injured, and all those affected by the tragedy.

“This unfortunate incident has left a painful scar on our hearts. We share in the grief of the bereaved families and the entire Nguru community during this dark period, “the statement read.

The message also conveyed condolences to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, the Emir of Nguru, His Royal Highness Alhaji Mai Mustapha Ibn Kyari, and the entire people of the communities affected, offering prayers for strength and resilience as the state mourns.

“We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants those who lost their lives eternal peace in Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May HE heal the injured, comfort grieving families and give us all the patience to bear this great loss, “the statement added.

FMC Nguru reaffirmed its solidarity with the people of Nguru and Yobe State at large, calling for unity, prayers, and collective healing in the aftermath of the tragedy.
