Darazo LG Chairman calls for school enrollment, avoidance of tree felling

The executive chairman of Darazo local government area, Honourable Samaila Yau Sade has called on parents to ensure that children of school age are enrolled into school for the development of the area.
Honourable Samaila who made the call in his sallah message also appealed to the people of Darazo not to involve in indiscriminate cutting of trees in other to avoid desertification.
He said, “I am using this opportunity to call on parents on three major issues. One is for them is to enroll their Children into primary and secondary school, and to also to bring back those who dropped out”, he said.
Hon. Sade also warned members of the public about the dangers of deforestation, saying that trees should not be felled anyhow.
According to him, indiscriminate cutting of trees is an invitation to climate change and sahara desert encroachment.
“Parents should be very vigilant on their children, especially those at adolescent age and those who are living in villages”, he added.
The local government chairman appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state for the numerous developmental projects and programmes he has executed across 20 LGs of the state since inception in 2019.
“We are always supportive to your administration which is aimed at the betterment of our people”, he stressed.
