Christian group commends Architectronix Ltd for timely completion of Bauchi govt house

The Coalition of Bauchi State Christian Youths and Elders in Politics has commended the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer CEO of Architectronix, Architect Reuben Okoya for the timely completion of the remodeled Bauchi Government house project.

The chairman of the Coalition, Comrade Joel Joshua who spoke to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, passed a vote of confidence on the construction firm for its quality project, expressing satisfaction with the level of work so far done on the Bauchi International Conference Centre construction project.

It can be recall that the multi billion Naira remodeled government house was commissioned by the vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima on 18th May, 2024.

The new government house constructed by construction company led by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Architect Reuben Okoya, comprises the governor’s office, the deputy governor’s office and the SSG’s office, as well as the governor’s official residence and two different banquet halls, among others.

While commissioning the edifice, the Vice President commended Sen. Bala Mohammed for having the foresight and determination to embark on the project in spite of the paucity of funds available to the government.

Chairman of the Coalition while applauding Governor Bala Mohammed of the state for bringing the construction company to carry out the project, commended the Chairman of the construction firm, Architect Reuben Okoya for delivering quality job so far.

The group while appreciating Architect Okoya for recruiting his workers without recourse to any ethnic or religious differences, stressed that christian community are adequately represented in his workforce.

“He has been working in line with the vision of His Excellency, the executive Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Mohammed who is governing Bauchi state without discrimination on the bases of religion or ethnicity”, he said.

Comrade Joshua further explained that Architect Okoya’s recruitment of engineers and other workers does not discriminate any segment of Bauchi society.

“We are glad that after the successful completion of the government house construction, the work on the new International Conference Centre has reached appreciable level, at least more than 80 percent”, he said.

Comrade Joel stated that the new government house which looks like the united States white house, is adjudged by many as the best in the country.

“What impresses the Bauchi state Coalition of Christian Youths and Elders in Politics about Architectronix is the way they focused on ensuring that quality and durable construction services are delivered”, he said.

“We learned that even recently, the construction firm has increased the salary of its workers to enable them cope with the challenges of inflation in the market”, Comrade Joshua further stated.

“Arch. Okoya’s kindness to people cannot be overemphasized, he is kind to his workers, he ensures that they are motivated to put in their bests . He appreciates dignity if labour”, he added.

The chairman of the Coalition maintained that Architect Okoya quest for quality construction services has been seen in his usual motivation of his workers with reasonable stipends, particularly during festive seasons.

The coalition which observed that the quality of work done by the company handling the construction of the international conference centre in Bauchi can not be compared to non in the country, appealed to the Bauchi state government to retain them for future projects.
