Bauchi Humanitarian ministry felicitates with Gov Mohammed on Leadership award

The Bauchi State ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has felicitated with Governor Bala Mohammed of the state for being conferred with a prestigious Award by the Leadership Newspaper as the best Governor of the year 2024.

Honourable commissioner of the ministry, Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka who congratulated the governor in a press statement Friday, attributed the governor’s recognition by Leadership newspaper to his gigantic contribution on Infrastructural Development in Bauchi State.

The press statement which was e-signed by the information officer of the Ministry, Adama Ibrahim, quoted the Commissioner as saying that, the choice of Governor Mohammed did not come as surprised given the level of his policy drive on developing key Infrastructures that serves as catalysts for sustainable development and economic prosperity in Bauchi State.

Hajiya Wanka described the award as a testimony of the Governor’s resilience to building Bauchi State for economic prosperity and assured her Ministry’s continued support in actualising the Governor’s blueprint of “My Bauchi Project”.

“Your Excellency Sir, this award is a testament of your resilience, doggedness and belief in creating an enabling environment for human capital development and economic prosperity in our dear Bauchi State”, the commissioner said.

According to her, more of such awards will be coming the way of the governor before the end of his second tenure which has witnessed better leadership style and people oriented policies and programs that can best be described as “all encompassing”.

She further the ministry’s resolve to continue to support the Governor’s policy of social inclusion, providing succour to people and mitigating disasters in the state to the bearest minimum.
