Misau LG Chairman to reconnect Jarkasa, other communities to National Grid

In a renewed vigour to resolve electricity supply problem, the executive chairman of Misau local Government area, Honourable Salisu Hussaini Hardawa has expressed his Council’s readiness to repair and reconnect communities of Jarkasa, Gwaram, Akuyam and Sarma to the National grid.
The chairman stated this while showcasing some of the procured electricity equipments and items to be used for the repairs and reconnection of the benefitting communities to National grid at the premises of the local government on Tuesday.
The procurement of the items worth millions of naira, according to the local government chairman, followed the long black out experienced across the affected communities long time ago due to windstorm during last year’s rainy season.
Hon. Hardawa who assured the good people of the area of fixing the problem within the shortest possible period, appreciated the patience of the people during the trying moment.
“We really commend your patience and cooperation during the long period of time you have stayed without electricity, this shows that you are the kind of people that are law abiding”, he said.
He also enjoined the people of Jarkasa, Gwaram, Akuyam and Sarma to continue to support the administration of governor Bala Mohammed for continued provision of democracy dividends.
