Governor Bala appoints nearly 200 aides

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has announced the appointment of 168 aids to help his administration is various capacities.
The new appointments according to the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Comrade Mukhtar Gidado was aimed at strengthening the machinery of the government in the state.
“The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, has approved the appointments of Principal Special Assistants (PSA), Senior Special Assistants (SSA), Special Assistants (SA) and Personal Assistants (PA)”, he said.
Comrade Gidado stressed that the appointments are part of the Governor’s ongoing efforts to ensure greater inclusion, enhance service delivery, and foster a government that reflects the diverse interests and aspirations of the people of Bauchi State.
He explained that the appointees who are largely former political office holders at the national, state, and local government levels, were selected based on merit, proven experience, and political background as well as leadership capabilities.
Gidado said the newly appointed aids are expected to inject fresh energy into the administration and support the Governor’s vision of a more responsive and effective government.
He conveyed the Governor’s congratulations to the appointees and urged them to see their appointments as a call to greater service.
The Governor’s Media aid said Governor Mohammed’s administration has intensified efforts to deliver more democratic dividends to the good people of Bauchi State.
He said that his principal is confident that with the new appointments, his administration will be better positioned to consolidate on its achievements and build a legacy of good governance, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
The press statement noted that five persons were appointed as Principal Special Assistants (PSA) on Political/Community Relations, 1 Principal Special Assistant on Pension matters, 60 Senior Special Assistants (SSA) on Political/Community Relations, 1 senior special assistant (SSA) on labour matters as well as 38 special assistant (SA) on political/ community relations.
The press statement which further said others appointed include 63 personal assistants (PA) on political/ community relations disclosed that the appointments takes immediate effect.
