Coalition of Bauchi Christian Youths, Elders in Politics praises Health Minister’s performance

The Nigeria’s coordinating minister of health and social development, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate has been commended for impacting positively in the country’s health system.
Speaking to newsmen on Friday, Chairman Bauchi state Coalition of Christian Youths and Elders in Politics, Comrade Joel Joshua extolled the minister for his resilience in rendering selfless service to humanity.
According to him, the Health Minister has provided over 300 job opportunities to the people of Bauchi state, especially within the health sector where he is leading.
“Recently, the Hon minister provided employment to many people under a particular platform call Facebook connect. We learnt that he has also secured job for three children of the Late Bauchi Cleric, Imam Dr. Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi”, the chairman of the Coalition said.
Comrade Joshua said, with the help of the health minister, additional federal university teaching hospital and federal medical center which are situated in Azare and Misau respectively have been established in Bauchi.
“With the intervention of Prof Pate, Bauchi is having two schools of nursing, an orthopedic hospital, Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Centre and National Fistula Surgery Hospital”, Comrade Joshua further disclosed.
He observed that the above professional and educational institutions established in Bauchi would create more employment opportunities for the citizens of the state.
Comrade Joshua said that the ongoing construction of other new institutions and comprehensive healthcare centres in each of the 774 LGA’s across the states, with Bauchi inclusive would get many citizens engaged meaningfully.
While appealing for continues prayer and support for the minister to succeed, Comrade Joshua said that Prof Pate has really made Bauchi state proud in the ongoing Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He reiterated the need for the people of Bauchi state to support the health Agenda of the President who appointed their son as the health minister.
The Coalition while expressing confidence in Professor Pate’s capacity to deliver transformative leadership in the Nigerian health industry, said their support for him is rooted in the fact that Pate stands as a beacon of hope for Bauchi state.
Joshua stressed that the decision to commend Prof Pate followed an extensive consultations with stakeholders across the state, considering his proven track record in governance, public health, and development, as well as his personality as a detribalized man.
The Coalition observed that the Nigeria’s health sector under Prof Pate has witnessed significant progress, with critical issues in the sector adequately been addressed.
Comrade Joshua said for the Nigerian health expert Muhammad Pate to stepped down as the next chief executive officer of Gavi which would have paid him more to accept President Tinubu’s offer to serve his fatherland, shows his zeal for service to humanity and love for his people.
Joshua recalled that Pate did excellently well when he served at a global scene as the Global Director for Health, Nutrition, and Population at the World Bank, adding that Pate’s contributions during COVID-19 pandemic and other global health emergencies earned him international trust and recognition.
The Coalition also called on the people of Bauchi state regardless of party differences to unite and support Prof Pate in order to witness people-oriented governance and get more dividends of democracy in Bauchi state from the federal government.
