Gombe 2027: It’s not yet time for politicking, support Gov Yahaya – Gombe Philantrophist tell supporters

As growing calls and agitations for him to contest for Gombe Governorship seat ahead 2027 general elections keeps ringing in his ears, a politician and philanthropist, Engineer Aliyu Mohammed (Kombat) has appealed to his admirers to give more support to the incumbent State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to enable him complete his second tenure and deliver in all the ongoing projects and programmes.
Engr Mohammed who stated this in a press statement on Friday titled “Let Us Remain Focused—The Time for Politics Will Come”, appreciated the people calling and agitating for him to declare interest in the 2027 gubernatorial race of Gombe State.
“My dear well-wishers and the good People of Gombe State, I wish to express my heartfelt and profound gratitude over the overwhelming show of love and support—the calls, messages, and public encouragement. I have listened to your voices, felt your agitations, and deeply appreciate your trust and belief in me. I can’t take this for granted”, he said.
The philatelist who observed that it is still a little too early to engage in any form of electioneering campaigns, noted that what is required at this critical moment is the collective focus of the good people of Gombe on the outstanding work being done by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of the state.
He stated that the governor who continues to deliver dividends of democracy across every nook and cranny of Gombe state need additional support.
According to him, in barely less than six years, Governor Inuwa has demonstrated visionary leadership through numerous developmental projects that are transforming Gombe State.
Aliyu Mohammed added that, “These include the expansion of road networks within the metropolitan areas and across all 11 local governments, the construction of a New State House of Assembly complex, a modern judiciary complex, and a revitalized state secretariat to enhance governance and service delivery.”
He stressed that,”Most remarkably, he established the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park as the first of its kind in the country, positioning Gombe as a hub for industrial growth and economic empowerment.”
He said in recent days, the Governor has also intensified efforts to reward loyalty and dedication of party faithfuls and those who played pivotal roles in securing victories during both his first and second term elections.
The politician stressed that the rewards, ranging from contract awards to Hajj slots, appointments, and many more are clear demonstrations of a leadership that values commitment and service.
“As we rally behind His Excellency in this people-centered mission, I want to reassure you that our philanthropic efforts and empowerment will continue without interruption. We remain steadfast in our belief that true leadership lies in serving humanity and improving lives”, he noted.
