Giade LG chairman charges Intending pilgrims to be Good ambassadors, pray for peace

The chairman of Giade local government area, Hon Usman Muhammad Sale (Randy) has admonished the intending pilgrims from his domain to be good ambassadors of the local Government, Bauchi state and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon Sale made who gave the advice while bidding the intending pilgrims farewell at the Giade local government council chambers, enjoined them to also pay attention to purpose of their stay in Saudi Arabia.
According to him, the purpose of the Hajj exercise is not for buying properties.
He however advised them not to buy things they need in supermarkets due to their exorbitant prices.
The local government chairman also called on the pilgrims to pray for Giade, Bauchi and Nigeria as a whole while in the holy land for peace and economic improvement.
The Chairman announced the decision of the council to take full responsibility for feeding all intending pilgrims before they leave Nigeria to Saudi Arabia.
He also announced the gift of N5000 as pocket money to each of the intending pilgrims at the airport.
In a goodwill message, former member state assembly and former chairman of Giade local government, Hon Adamu Bello Giade congratulated the intending pilgrims for having the opportunity to perform this year’s Hajj exercise.
Hon Bello who is also Adviser to Governor Bala Mohammed on investment, advised the intending pilgrims to concentrate more on the purpose of their journey to Saudi Arabia which is to perform Hajji.
Among those who attended the farewell lecture were the Giade local government chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ,Alh Manu Kura, intending pilgrims, local government staff among others.
