Children’s Day: Bauchi Gov pledges priotization of Children’s education, Safety

Bauchi state Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has pledged to continue to pay priority attention to the education of children, their safety and health across the state.

Speaking on Tuesday at the 2025 Children’s Day celebration in Bauchi where hundreds of school children and organizations participated, the governor further pledged that his administration will continue to initiate policies and programs to better the lots of not only the children who are leaders of tomorrow, but the parents as well.

Represented by his deputy, Rt. Honourable Mohammed Auwal Jatau, the Governor called on the children to obey their parents and also be law abiding by avoiding social vices.

Also speaking, the state commissioner of women affairs and child development, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko, commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his support to the well-being and welfare of children.

She urged the people of the state to continue to support the laudable policies and programmes of Mohammed government for the socioeconomic development of Bauchi state.
