Commissioner Hajiya Wanka Congratulates Gov Bala on Life Time Achievement Award

The Bauchi state commissioner ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka has congratulated the Governor Governor Bala Mohammed on his recent Life Time achievement award by the by the National body of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ).

While describing the Award as well merited and testament of the Governor’s inclusive leadership, the commissioner said the award is a powerful recognition of the Governor’s deep commitment to press freedom, responsible journalism and people-centered governance.

“This is more than just an award , it’s a powerful recognition of Your Excellency’s deep commitment to press freedom, responsible journalism and people-centered governance. Your leadership continues to inspire those of us who serve under your administration, and I am proud to be part of this incredible journey with you”, she said in a Facebook post.

“I joyfully join the good people of Bauchi State in celebrating His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on the well-deserved conferment of the NUJ Lifetime Achievement Award by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) during their 70th Anniversary”, the Honourable commissioner stated in the post.

“As Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, I have seen firsthand how your inclusive and transparent approach to leadership has created space for sustainable development, stronger institutions, and a vibrant media that speaks for the people”, she added.

Honourable Wanka also prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to guide the governor with wisdom and strength as he works tirelessly to move Bauchi state and its people to enviable heights.
