Gov Mohammed appoints Shira as Managing Director Bauchi Radio Corporation

Governor Bala Mohammed has on Monday, approved the appointment of Umar Mohammed Shira as the new Managing Director of the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC).

As contained in a press release made available to newsmen by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, the appointment of Shira as the new BRC managing Director takes immediate effect.

The release explained that the decision reflects the Governor’s confidence in the leadership capabilities, vast experience, and dedication of Shira in the media and communication sector.

“As a seasoned professional with a proven track record in media management and broadcasting, Shira is well-equipped to reposition BRC for greater efficiency, professionalism, and public service excellence”, the Governor said.

He also expressed belief that the new Managing Director will leverage his wealth of experience to enhance the corporation’s role as a credible source of information, education, and entertainment for the people of Bauchi State and beyond.

Bala Mohammed therefore, enjoined all the staff and stakeholders of Bauchi Radio Corporation to support the new Managing Director in his mandate to improve the station’s operations and service delivery.
