Hon Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo wins PDP ticket for Chiroma constituency unopposed

The member representing Chiroma constituency in the Bauchi state house of assembly, Hon. Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo has emerged unopposed as the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the coming 2023 general elections.
The Lawmaker who is re-contesting for the seat thanked the party delegates and other stakeholders in Chiroma district for reposing confidence in him.
Hon. Bobbo who is also the leader of the opposition Peoples Democratic party in the state assembly in Bauchi, dedicated his victory to the entire people of his constituency across all political parties.
“Looking at the quality and purposeful representation we have given to our people, we will not relent, we will continue to represent our people as expected”, he said.
Hon. Bobbo while speaking in a post-election victory interview with our Corresspondent yesterday, said he will reflect on the successes he has recorded if he is elected in 2023.
“We will reflect on our successes, the ones we have recorded, we will merge the successes with the little failures we had in order to come up with a more sound and robust way of representation”, the Lawmaker promised.
“By putting our successes and the little challenges we had, it will give us the lee-way to what we are going to do in future if the opportunity avail itself”, he said.
The opposition Leader in the Bauchi state assembly observed that the process of politicking is something that has to be planned and designed to reflect those things that your constituents want.
“As of now, beginning from the last three years, we were able to understand the needs of our people and we have been able to address those that we can address. In Sha Allah, those that we couldn’t do are the ones that we have documented for possible redress if voted in 2023”, the Lawmaker assured.
Hon. Bakoji who is into his second tenure, noted that what many people don’t know is, the success of every government is all about continuity, adding that the art of lawmaking has to do with experience.
“It is all about experience, that is why the tenure for Lawmakers is limitless in the constitution. That’s why if you look at the present American President, Joe Biden, he spent up to 40 years in the Senate. So by God’s grace, we are going to deliver purposeful leadership to the benefit of our people”, Hon. Bobbo promised.
The lawmaker who expressed appreciation to the leadership of the party for creating the conducive atmosphere for all the aspirants, described the PDP as a political party that has internal democracy and the interest of the masses at heart.
He promised continues support to the state government, the party and the leadership of the party for the progress of Bauchi state.
