DR. WAZIRI APPOINTED AS ACTING PROVOST A.D RUFA’I COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, LEGAL AND GENERAL STUDIES, MISAU – BAUCHI STATE.

The Board of Governing Council of the College held its regular meeting on 18th December, 2025 and officially approved the appointment of Dr. Umar Dauda Waziri as the acting Provost.

This decision comes after the expiration of Dr. Auwal Ibrahim Amba’s two terms in office. Dr. Waziri has earlier today 22nd December, 2025 assumed the role pending the selection of a substantive Provost.

Until his appointment, Dr. Waziri was the Deputy Provost of the College.
