Bauchi APC Central Stakeholders Restates Stand On Kunde Leadership
By Idris Khalid
All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Bauchi Central have reiterated their stand on the leadership of the party with Hon. Sunusi Aliyu Kunde as state chairman.
A press statement signed on yesterday by the stakeholders’ committee chairman, Hon. Adamu S. Noma said that their stand is based on the mandate of Bauchi central stakeholders to produce the state chairman from the senatorial district.
He stated, “The mandate was given to us following the outright rejection of the imposition of state chairman by Mallam Adamu Adamu during the critical stakeholders meeting held at the house of the education minister of Plot 17 Euphrate Cresent, Abuja on 14th October, 2021.
It explained that a petition was written to the National Reconciliation Committee of the party after the appearance of an unfamiliar person parading himself as the state chairman of the APC in Bauchi.
Noma stated that an acknowledgement letter was received from the National Reconciliation Committee duly signed by its secretary, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo.
Hon. Adamu Noma revealed that they received a court order on 8th December, 2021 following the suit No. BA/325/2021 from the Bauchi High Court stopping Hon. Babayo Aliyu Misau from parading himself as the purported state chairman of the party, “We should continue to pursue our case in the court of law which is still pending”.
