It was indeed a moment of joy and show of concern as the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Bauchi State Office recently organized a lecture to celebrate some of its staff who retired from service.
Muhammad Bello and Adamu Dalla who have retired from active service were called and celebrated on one fateful Thursday by their colleagues whose service years are yet to elapse in Bauchi.
Speaking at the occasion, the Bauchi State Coordinator of the Commission, Abdulmumini Isah commended the retirees for their hard work and selfless service to humanity.
The Coordinator described the lecture organized in honor of the retirees as first of its kind in the history of the commission since the establishment of its office in the State.
Alhaji Abdulmumini Isah said that the commission is the custodian of Nigeria data, working with different security agencies towards ensuring that data and record are being kept in order.
Speaking during the Lecture, some PFAs professionals, David Jerry and Aliyu Shuaibu from both Trust Fund and Premium pension administrator contributory scheme in Bauchi, advised workers to always ensure that they check and update their records before their retirement period.
They also advised workers to restrict to only one next of kind to avoid facing confusion on collection of retirement benefits by their family.
On the part of the retirees, Mal. Muhammad Bello thanked Almighty Allah for granting them the opportunity to witness the day.
He called on the commission’s staff to always ensure that they give out their best whenever they are assigned with any responsibility.
