Ningi Council Chairman Debunks Media Report On His Alleged Suspension

The Executive Chairman of Ningi Local Government Chairman Alhaji Mamuda Hassan Tabla has debunked online medium and social media rumours of his suspension as Chairman of the Local Government council.

Speaking to journalists in Bauchi over the purported report, described the rumour as unfounded, mischievous, politically motivated and out of figment of imagination, and asked perpetrators of the act to withdraw their unguided statements before the LG take legal action against them.

“My performance as elected executive chairman is unassailable. My link with my constituents, councilors and entire people of Ningi Local Government Area is unbreakable. The Leadership of my party, my people, all have total faith and belief in my abilities”.

The Ningi Local Government Chairman warned that “No amount of threats or political vendetta my further progress in politics is in the hands of God. No amount of fake news can stop what has been divinely ordained.”

“I would have ignored this patently laughable and contradictory hatchet job but for the fact that the undiscerning may fall for this deception if the facts are not put straight,” he said.

He explained that “In their haste to execute their devilish agenda, they failed to get their facts right, as I am talking to you I am in my office on my seat discharging my official functions and responsibilities harmoniously as executive Chairman of Ningi.”

Mamuda said he was aware that the news of the so-called “suspension” is the handiwork of political forces bent on degrading our political stature and positioning themselves for higher office, saying they are mistaken.

He explained that since assumption of office as Chairman, he has adopted the inclusive and participatory approach and has been transparent and accountable to all and make tremendous effort in the provision of infrastructures.

“We have been forthright in carrying out our official functions together with my councillors, some politicians decided to use them for their selfish interest but they refuse to be use.”

“That is how we have always worked in the council the idea of disunity or attempt to move against the Chairman by councilors only exists in the imagination of mischief makers.”

On the issue of allegations of Lame Burra Gane reserve forest, the chairman said various Committees have been set up by the Government and nothing incriminating was found against him, its the issue of illegal settlers in the forest and the first is under the state government.

He commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his steadfastness in stearing the affairs if the State.
