Obi Diaspora Group Train 200 Women In Midwifery, VVF Prevention

A Labour Party support group, Diaspora Nigeria for Peter Obi (DNPO) with over one thousand members across Nigeria, over one hundred co-ordinators in the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT and many more across the globe has trained two hundred women in midwifery, VVF prevention across Bauchi state.
Project co-ordinator of the group Amb. Sani Muhammad Sani, disclosed to newsmen in Bauchi shortly after the event that the training was successful through the never say die attitude and brilliant campaign Initiatives put together by the six Conveners of the group that are both at home and abroad.
Amb. Sani pointed out that the move should be emulated by the Presidential Campaign Council PCC of the Labour Party in ensuring that Peter Obi campaign reach the Grassroots.
He explained that such initiatives was only attain through tasking, “These training is achieved and financed by the six Conveners of DNPO. The Conveners did not collect a single kobo from any of their members, neither from anyone from the Labour Party nor the presidential campaign Council.”
He further revealed that the DNPO has always been very active in promoting Peter Obi through various means especially in grassroots mobilisation and sensitization.
He stressed that more training at the grassroots especially on skills acquisition and other programs are on the way despite the little time there is to the elections.
Conveners of Diaspora Nigeria for Peter Obi DNPO according to Amb. Sani are, Eze Chukwunyere (USA), Martin Ogboogu (UK), Prince Hilary Douglas OKPALAUGO (Nigeria), Prof. Chuka A. Okoye, (UK), Mrs. Ngozi Nzegwu and Alhaji Sani Muhammad Sani, Nigeria respectively.
