2023: Bappah Aliyu Misau declares for Misau/Dambam Reps, as Hajiya Altine, others woo voters to his side

Honourable Bappah Aliyu Misau has declared his intention to contest for the position of member House of Representatives for Misau/Dambam federal constituency in Bauchi state.

Alhaji Bappah while making the declaration at the Peoples Democratic Party Secretariate in Misau local government area of Bauchi state, pledged purposeful and quality representation when given the mandate come 2023.

Hon Bappah who displayed the nomination form that was purchased for him by friends, well-wishers and other stakeholders in Misau and Dambam local government areas that made up the federal constituency during the gathering thanked them for the gesture.

“This form you are seeing, I first saw it in pictures, I am seeing physically now, and I want to assure those who made this effort that I will not disappoint them”, Hon Bappah pledged.

“I will not turn down your offer, I have today accepted your call on me to contest for House of Representatives seat for Misau/Dambam federal constituency”, he added.

Hon Bappah who said that the position as important as it is has, since the return of democracy in 1999 been occupied by some people.

“I had wanted to go for senate, but Allah who is the maker of everything and the initiator and finisher of everything decided for me to contest for House of Representatives seat”, he said.

Hon Bappah who said it is not all about the position but the person who will occupy it, further promised to make positive impact on the lives of the people of his constituency when reposed with their confidence.

He said that the people of his constituency requires a competent person like him to enable them get the needed dividends of democracy.

“When I get there, I will ensure that I do more than what Faggo and Manu Soro are doing, I will perform more Baba Mai Iyali because I am ahead of them and more competent when it comes to politics.

Bappah Aliyu who called for prayers to enable him succeed, appealed to the people of the constituency to give him massive support.

The Reps aspirant who further appealed to the youth and women to intensify campaign for him to succeed, pledged to run a Youths friendly representation if he emerged victorious in 2023.

Earlier speaking, Alhaji Babangida Ahmed who said that the essence of being in politics is ideology and to also elect people who will represent their Communities, added that Hon Bappah is competent enough to represent the constituency.

“His intention was to contest for the position of a Senator but God in His will decided that he goes for House of Representatives seat not because he can not win the Senatorial seat but because Allah said he should go for Reps”, he added.

Alhaji Babangida while stating that the entire people of Misau and Dambam are in support of Bappah’s aspiration, expressed confidence that he will win come 2023.

Also speaking, the Women leader for Bappah Aliyu Misau movement, Hajiya Altine Umar Misau appealed to the electorates in Misau/Dambam federal constituency to come out en masse and cast their votes for Honourable Bappah Aliyu Misau who is aspiring to represent them as member, House of Representatives in 2023.

Altine who said, Hon Bappah is a tested and trusted politicians, maintained that the aspirant possesses all the required credentials to represent the constituency.

On his part, the PDP Chairman, Misau local government area, Hon. Abdu Haruna thanked Allah for giving them the opportunity to witness the occasion.

He said that the Peoples Democratic Party which is built on justice and fairness is resolute in ensuring that every member is treated just and fair.

He pledged the committment of the PDP towards ensuring justice and fair play before, during and after the 2023 electioneering.

Hon. Haruna who called on party faithfuls to rally round the party, said that the party will always ensure that the decision of majority of the people are respected, adding that the party will only field-in the candidates that are capable of winning election.
