2027: Governor Mohammed pledges support for competent successor, PDP’s success in future elections

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has disclosed his plans to ensure that only competent candidates are supported to emerge leaders into various elective offices across the state in 2027.

The Governor made this known while speaking at a civic reception organized by Tafawa Balewa local government stakeholders in honor of the newly elected State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Bauchi state Chapter, Pharmacist Samaila Burga during the weekend.

Mohammed who also promised to ensure that a credible and acceptable person from the party is supported to succeed him in office, emphasized the importance of bringing credible candidates to fly the PDP tickets to ensure a successful elections outing in Bauchi state.

The Governor while congratulating the new party executives, advised them to always ensure sanity, fairness, and justice while discharging their mandates, most especially primary elections as well as build on the legacies of the immediate past party EXCO under Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam.

Speaking earlier, the new Bauchi PDP Chairman, Pharmacist Samaila Adamu Burga thanked the Governor for his support towards the success of the recent party state congress that produced him as the Chairman.

Pharmacist Burga who also pledged to discharge his duty with fairness for the progress of not only the PDP but the state at large, called on the people of the state to continue to support the governor in his transformation drive.
