Bauchi Govt sacks two civil servants over misconduct, warn four others

Bauchi state Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the dismissal of Hauwa Adamu Kardam, Chief Production Assistant at Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC) from the State Service over what it described as “serious misconduct”.
This development was contained in a press release made available to newsmen by the information officer of the State Civil Service Commission, Saleh Umar yesterday.
According to the Commission, the action of the sanctioned officer contravened Bauchi State Public Service Regulations 0327.
The information officer added that the appointment of Halima Umar Chief Production Assistant of the same Government establishment was terminated over misconduct and being accessory before the fact.
He further explained that the dismissal and termination of the Officers’ appointments was deliberated during the Commission’s 13th plenary session presented to the Commission in the meeting by the Central Recruitment Agency of the Commission (CRA) on Thursday 18th April, 2024 at it’s conference Hall.
Saleh Umar said during the plenary session, the Commission lifted the suspension of 3 Officers of the Radio House with immediate effect.
The Commission also approved the issue of warning to three Officers from the program and production Departments of the Radio House including the Head of the Corporation for dereliction of duty.
He added that the Commission also approved the lifting of suspension slammed on one of the Staff of the State Healthcare Development Agency and issue of Letter of advise to the Officer for contravention of the Public Service Regulations.
The information officer also announced that the Commission has promoted 47 Officers and Converted 3 others into various cadres at the Bauchi State Sanitation and Environmental Protection Agency (BASEPA).
