Bauchi Gov bags award of excellence from Nat’l Librarian for supporting Library operations

As a reward for supporting Library operations, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has been nominated for an Award of Excellence from the National Librarian Conference.
As contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by Nazif Mahmoud Abubakar on behalf of the State Librarian yesterday, the State Library Board has concluded arrangements for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Conference of National Librarian Conference of Bauchi.
The Librarian also commended the Governor Bauchi State Governor for supporting the operations of Library services in the state since assumption of office in 2019.
“Consequently, and in recognition of his contribution, the Governor will be honoured with an Award of Excellence by the National Librarian Conference”, part of the statement reads.
Nazif Mahmoud Abubakar stated that announced that State Librarians, Directors and Chairman of Public Libraries would be in attendance.
He further noted that the ceremony is expected to be declared by the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, on the 21st May, 2024 at SULGAD Majestic Hotel , Maiduguri bypass, Bauchi.
