•Commission New Government House Complex

Vice President Senator Ƙashim Shettima has called on the Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the Governors under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to persist in prioritising developmental projects to eliminate infrastructural gaps, affirming that the Northeast and Nigeria is proud of his creativity, innovation and perserverance.

Senator Shettima made the call in his address during the inauguration of the new Bauchi Government House complex, asserting that the new building will boost service efficiency in addition to reconfiguring the state’s layout. 

While congratulating Bauchi state and its citizens, VP Shettima called on Governor Bala to do more, applauding his developmental strides in both rural and urban areas.

Earlier speaking, Governor Bala commended VP Shettima for honouring the invitation, emphasizing that the project was his passion and lifelong dream, attributing the success of its completion to unwavering support from the citizenry.

Mohammed added that his administration remains committed to revamping the state’s economy, hence the need for collaboration and partnership with relevant stakeholders from the subregion.

Notably present were members of the Northeast Governors’ Forum (NEGF), former Bauchi state military administrator, Major General Abutu Garuba, Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Muazu among others.
