Bauchi Ministries, Departments To Showcase Achievements

Governor Bala Mohammad has approved the rescheduling of the reintroduced ministerial briefing by all state ministries, departments and agencies to showcase their significant achievements and future plans for the development of the state.

To this end, according to a press statement signed by Director Administration and Human Resources in the state ministry of information, Ibrahim A. Maidawa and made available to journalists on Tuesday, the ministerial briefing will commence from July 1, 2024 to July 16, 2024.

The statement captured the date for the briefing of the ministries and their parastatals as Budget and Economy planning, finance, Agriculture, culture and Tourism will brief journalists on the first day while the second day ministries of education as well as Judicial and civil service commissions will take lead.

The statement added that ministries of commerce, cooperative and development and that of housing and environment will also be featured on day 3 respectively.

Ministries of justice and high court of justice as well as Sharia court of appeal and Shari’a Commission on day 4 while ministries for local government and religious affairs will follow on the day 5.

Day 6 includes ministries of rural development and water resources and ministries of works and transport, land and survey but for day 7 are ministries of women affairs and child development and that of humanitarian and disaster management, ministries of security and internal affairs, youth and sport development.

The statement further listed local governments pension board and service commission as well as state pension board and BASINEC on day 8.

Day 9 include, Bauchi state public complaints and Anti corruption commission, sustainable development goals and ministries of power science and technology, natural resources

Bauchi state house of assembly and Bauchi state library board to give their briefing on day 10.

Meanwhile, according to the statement on Monday July 15, Bauchi state procurement board, office of the secretary to state government and office of the head of civil service, ministry of information and communication will round up the state ministerial briefing.
