Ex-ATAP SUG PRO congratulates Newly appointed DG Borno Agency For Great Green Wall

The former Students Union Government (SUG) Public Relations Officer (PRO), Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP) Bauchi Chapter , Comrade Abubakar Muhammadu has congratulated Alhaji Usman Aliyu on his appointment as Director General (DG) of Borno state Great Green Wall, Alhaji Usman Aliyu by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.
Comrade Muhammadu who made this known in a press statement on Tuesday, described Alhaji Usman Aliyu as mentor, Tutor, pedagogue, Role model, Humanitarian as well as Environmental Activist.
He further noted that the newly appointed DG who is until his appointment, the founder of Go Green, is in addition, a man with multiple Capacities and an Iconic personality.
The former SUG official who described the appointment as a well-deserved one, added that Governor Zulum who appointed the DG is a man whose mind is filled with compassion to Humanity.
According to him, the Governor is also a workaholic Governor, a Gallant and an antidote to crime and criminality in Borno State.
He said that Governor Zulum is a true definition of a leader worthy of emulation by his counterparts Nationwide, deserving Commendation, appreciation and encomium from the entire people of Borno state.
Comrade Muhammadu further commended the Governor for appointing a bonafide indigene of Borno state as DG to serve the state.
“Indeed this appointment of Amb. Usman Aliyu is not unconnected with the great milestone he has so far achieved in terms of public awareness creation on environmental related issues, Tree planting aims at mitigating the effect of Climate change, his dedication and sacrifice in serving Humanity, His immense Contribution towards ensuring that vulnerable and destitutes have a better life like other Citizens, Call him a Samaritan, among others too numerous to mention”, he said.
Comrade Muhammadu therefore, prayed that Almighty Allah guide the DG throughout the period of the discharge of his mandate.
While describing the appointment as a step it the right direction and a great measure taken by the State Governor, said it will go a long way in ensuring serious fight and total elimination of all Environmental Related Problems in the State.
He further encourage the DG to consolidate on the already existing selfless service he has been rendering to humanity, praying that the Governor will one day appoint him as Commissioner Ministry of Housing and environment.
