Unscrupulous persons attempting to blackmail me – Die-hard supporter of former speaker Dogara raises alarm

A staunch supporter of former house of representatives speaker, Rt. Honourable Yakubu Dogara, Comrade John Emmanuel has raised the alarm that some unscrupulous persons are using different ghost social media accounts to post offensive write-up against the 8th Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Honourable Yakubu Dogara in an attempt to blackmail him.

Comrade Emmanuel who was reacting to a diversionary write-up e-signed by one Cmrd John Emmanuel and Haruna Yahaya on Thursday, accused them of using his name (Comr John Emmanuel) to spew out lies against the former speaker.

He said: “the unscrupulous persons are using ghost accounts on various social media platforms in a frantic attempt to blackmail my personality by using my name (Comr John Emmanuel) in their wicked lies against the noble personality of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara CFR, the Speaker of the 8th National Assembly”.

Comrade Emmanuel who disclaimed the yet to be identified persons, said in the whole of Zaar Community, home and abroad, nobody amongst all the persons bearing the name John Emmanuel, uses the title “Comrade”.

“Nobody uses the title “Comrade”, except me. I dare such a person who signed such a false document to show up and claim ownership of that publication, thus challenging my disclaimer in a court of law”, Comrade Emmanuel said.

“I have been a die-hard supporter of Yakubu Dogara since 2006/2007 when he began his political campaign for the House of Representatives”, he added.

He pointed out that his love and support for Yakubu Dogara was born out of his love for his people, adding that the 8th Assembly speaker is a compassionate person who hates injustice and can not support any inhuman actions.

“It was this reason among many that attracted me to him, just as that has attracted hate to the person or those who posted the above-mentioned wicked character assassination”, the Ex-speaker’s supporter noted.

He described the writers of the said article as nothing but wicked political jobbers who in their usual scheme hide under one thing or the other to carry out their mission which has always been against their own (Zaar) people.

According to him, the brains behind the evil write-up against Yakubu Dogara are the usual ghost faces with wicked hearts who exist amongst the Zaar people but hate the land’s collective resolve and oppose every step taken to achieve the desired unity, progress, and legitimate self-determination.

“They also impersonated the name International Society of Zaar Intellectuals (ISOZI), with a name that does not exist. There is only one ISOZI that every right-thinking Zaarite is proud of as a body that stands for the interest of the Zaar people and, by extension, the Zaar Kingdom”, Comrade Emmanuel disclosed.

He noted that in the time past, Zaar land has seen such unscrupulous persons who in their quest to please the present Governor of Bauchi State who has parted ways with the former speaker.

“Dogara is our political figure and our rallying point, he is the pillar of Zaar land (Jendhm Zaar). These individuals have in so many ways caused crisis in Zaar Community for personal gains”, he alleged.

Comrade Emmanuel further regretted that such people have in conspiracy, denied Zaar people the right to Zaar Chiefdom, which was legally created on the 8th day of November 2011.

“Even when the entire Zaar people unanimously elected Air Commodore Ishaku Komo (retired) as the sole candidate for the throne, the government refused to recognize him all because of these unmasked wicked fellows”, he said.

The Dogara supporter said, “since it has gotten to the extent of using the names of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara’s supporters to mislead the public, it was high time the sponsors of such lies be challenged.

“We do not care whatever transactions they may have with the Governor of Bauchi, Senator Bala Muhammad (Kauran Bauchi), but I must warn them to stop using my name as I could perceive where such lies emanated from. I have nothing to do with such an article, and I remain a true and committed supporter of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara who has done so much for Zaar Community, and we are proud of him”, he maintained.

Emmanuel advised Governor Mohammed not to trust such people that claimed to love him more than their own brother but can’t face him using their real identities.

Comrade Emmanuel who decried that Bauchi state government has neglected Zaar community by denying it dividends of democracy such as water, housing among others as a result of feud with Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, questioned how has such political misunderstanding affect the entire Zaar Community?

The pro-Dogara while condemning the action of the writers of the offensive article and attributing it to his name, advised the general public to disregard the misleading write up which he described as “a blatant lies cooked from the pit of Hell” to slander the name of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara CFR.
