APC MISAU LG: We only have one APC, one party Chairman in Misau LG – PRO insists

Concerned by the diversionary tactics of some people within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Misau local government area, the party’s Public Relations Officer in the area, Alhaji Shehu Abba Galdimawo has insisted that the party remains one as indivisible entity.

Speaking in an interview with our Correspondent yesterday, Galdimawo regretted a situation where some party members are trying to cause division within the party.

“As it is now, we have only one party chairman in Misau, he is Alhaji Ahmed Maigari, he is the one we know and he is the Chairman of the APC Misau local government”, he said .

“I don’t mean tomorrow but today because we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, that knowledge belong to God Almighty”, the PRO said.

Galdimawo who said any right thinking person is aware that God has blessed Misau local government immensely however, regretted that some people are trying to sabotage the party.

The Misau APC Chairman who expressed optimisms that God will shame the saboteurs, noted that it is high time that anyone who has the interest of Misau at heart come and rally round Ahmed Maigari to move both the APC and the local government forward.

On the attitude of some party members attending meetings of factional group, the PRO advised them to desist from act that is capable of ridiculing themselves because material gains.

“If somebody can be twisted because he is given some money, a pea nut, in your capacity as representative of the people, such person doesn’t know what he is doing”, he said .

The PRO who accused some party members of sabotaging the party in Misau, warned that the party will not hesitate to sanction anyone found wanting.

According to him, nyone who is given to love for money will always end up been irresponsible, thereby losing respect among the people.

“We only have one APC and if somebody will feel dividing his loyalty is what will keep him in the party or earn him his personal interest, they will be suspended”, the PRO said.

Galdimawo further warned that, any member who divides his loyalty would be investigated and if found wanting will be asked to apologize and change his ways.

He however, said that refusal to apologize after been found wanting would attract suspension.

“Honestly speaking, we don’t want to suspend anyone but we may not have any option than to wield the big stick against anyone trying to divide us”, the PRO said.

He called on the APC members in Misau local government to support the party, saying that God has given them Mohammed Ali Pate, the minister of health and social Welfare, as such, they should be thankful to the president Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

“If we really love the minister as our kinsman, let us all really round and support him, since he has indicated the zeal to help us ((the people of Misau)”. Let us all unite under the APC to move Misau local government area and Bauchi state in general forward”, the PRO concluded.
