Jerusalem Pilgrimage: Gov Bala’s supporter praises sponsorship of over 170 christians

A die-hard female supporter of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Jamila Garba has commended him for sponsoring 176 christians for the 2024 Jerusalem Pilgrimage in the holy land of Israel.

Also known as Zinariyan Kaura, Jamila who spoke to our Correspondent during the screening exercise for the intending pilgrims at the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board on Monday, described Governor Bala Mohammed as a father to all irrespective of political, tribal or religious affiliation.

“We in Bauchi state, we don’t have anything to say than thank you to the Governor, we have never had it so good like we are having now in Bauchi”, she said.

Garba who is one of the Christian intending pilgrims under the sponsorship of the Governor, observed that no Governor has catered for the plights of christians like Bala Mohammed in the history of Bauchi state.

“I want to express my deepest appreciation to the Governor and Her Excellency, his wife, the First Lady of Bauchi state for their concerns to christians”, she added.

According to her, due to the Governor’s commitment to good governance, Bauchi state has witnessed tremendous achievements since the inception of his administration in 2019.

While commending the screening officials carrying out the exercise for their diligence, Garba attributed the success to the Governor for providing the enabling environment that made the exercise to go smoothly.
