Dambam to construct water drainage within metropolitan to curb flooding – LG chairman

The Executive chairman of Dambam local Government area, Hon Yakubu Garba Tela has disclosed that drainages within the metropolitan city to address threats of flooding.

The Chairman Yakubu who made this known in his office at Dambam local Government secretariat, the Council will also construct drainage in Dambam headquarters of the local government in order to avoid flooding.

According to Tela, “the town is always developing and our water ways are always blocked as a result of misusing our drainage by unpatriotic citizen”, he decided.

The chairman noted that the work is line with his campaign promises to bring government closer to the people.

“We are always ready to listen to your constructive advice that will bring dividends of democracy to our society”, the LG chairman said.

He also appreciated the leadership style of Governor Bala Mohammed for always encouraging them to be selfless leaders that consider People’s problem first.

The chairman called on the people of Dambam to continue to support the administration of the Governor for prosperous Bauchi state.
