Dambam LG seeks construction of 32 km rural roads

Dambam Local Government Council of Bauchi state has requested the Bauchi state government to construct some rural roads totalling 32 kilometers within the area.
The request which was contained in a letter addressed to the Honourable Commissioner, Bauchi state Ministry of Rural Development and Special Duties, explained that the roads, when constructed, would ease the burden of transportation of goods and services.
Titled: “Request For The Construction Of Road To the Following Areas At Dambam Local
Government and signed on behalf of the Local Government Chairman by Engr Buba Dada, Director Works of the ministry, the letter said the request was an emergency one.
“I am directed to write and request the State Government intervention for the immediate construction of this road due to emergency it deserved and its importance.
The letter mentioned the roads to include Dambam to Gurbana 7KM, Gurbana to Zindawa 25 kilometers.
It stated that the communities are much worried which prompted them to visit the Local
Government Chairman during which they presented their requests for onward conveyance to the state Governor.
According to the letter, the communities are disturbed that the roads is not good for them to transport their farms produce while most of them are farmers.
“We are therefore, pleading the state Government for the construction of the roads”, the letter said.
