Misau Model Academy Alumni writes A.D Rufa’i college, seeks N1.6m support for ailing member’s surgery

The Misau Model Academy has written to the management of AD Rufa’i College of Education, Legal and General Studies, Misau Bauchi State, seeking for N1.6 million to support the surgery of ailing colleague, Khausar Suwaifullahi Salihu.
Titled: “request for Urgent Intervention”, the letter which was signed by Abdurrauf Ahmed Jalam
Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Alumni, said the ailing member is in dare need of financial support to have the surgery performed on her urgently.
“I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the Misau Model Academy Alumni
to seek your support in covering the medical expenses of Khausar Suwaifullahi Salihu, one of our members, who is in urgent need of surgery after a prolonged hospitalization”, the letter said.
According to the letter, Khausar’s late father was a valued member of staff at AD Rufa’i College.
The Alumni while expressing confidence that the bond shared with the institution will inspire those connected to him to help, explained that the Misau
Model Academy Alumni, together with the staff of the school, have successfully raised N1.1 million of the N1.6 million required for Khausar’s surgery.
“While this demonstrates the collective effort of our alumni and school community, we are still short of the total amount needed”, the Alumni said.
“Given Khausar’s connection to your institution, we are reaching out to ask for your support.
Any assistance you can offer will help us bridge the financial gap and ensure Khausar receives
the medical care he urgently needs”, the letter added.
“Enclosed are the details of the funds raised so far and the necessary medical documents from
the hospital”, the Alumni concluded.
