Fire Guts Galajen Bauchi House, Everything Burnt Down

A fire incident Thursday occured at the house of Bauchi traditional title holder, the Galaje of Bauchi, Alh. Adamu Abba Galaje, razing down the house almost completely with everything burnt down.
One of the family members Aminu Abba who survived from the incident with minor injury, said the incident happened at about 10:am while family members were busy in the house, situated at Baba Sidi in Bauchi metropolis, when all of a sudden fire flames engulfed the house.
The house was almost completely burnt down when operators of fire service arrived at the scene, but they were able to control the inferno from spreading in neighbouring houses, as no life was also lost in the incident.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. The traditional title holder was the immediate past Northeast zonal coordinator of the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON).
It could also be recalled similar incident occurred two months ago at the house of his junior brother, late Malam Sama’ila Abba adjacent to the house of the brother, whose house was also razed completely down in an inferno, and up till now there wasn’t any clue as to the cause of the fire.
Incidentally too, the families of late Malam Sama’ila Abba were taking refuge in the house of the brother, Alh. Adamu Galaje before this incident
Meanwhile, sympathisers have been trooping to the incident scene where Galaje and family members receiving sympathy visits from relatives and well-wishers.
