Clergies declare support for Gov Mohammed’s move to actualize Sayawa Chiefdom

The Zaar Clerics Consultative Forum, Bauchi Branch has declared support for Bauchi state government under Governor Bala Mohammed in its effort to ensure the actualization of the long agitated Sayawa Chiefdom with headquarters in Tafawa Balewa town.
The Forum which made its position known in a press statement yesterday, urged the Governor not to be deterred by the myriads of allegations and insults on his person over his determination to actualize the Chiefdom.
Jointly signed by Rev Haruna Mbidur, Chairman, Rev Sabo D. Muwari, Coordinator and Rev Masoyi Jibilla Dadi, Secretary, the press release called on Bala Mohammed to disregard the voices of individuals and groups who have positioned themselves as meddlesome interlopers, seeking to frustrate and disrupt the establishment of the Zaar Chiefdom using all manner of manipulative emotional hlackmail, religious propaganda, deadly lies and grand deceptions.
“They do not act in the interest of lasting peace, tranquility, inclusivity or the progress of our dear State. As a matter of fact, most of them are neither indigenes of Rauchi State nor residents of Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro LGAs, but completely strangers to the cause of the people of our dear State and areas and they care less about peace and harmony in Bauchi State,”The Forum said.
According to the Clergies, the Zaar Chiefdom is a well-deserved Chiefdom which has come at the right time.
“Your name shall be written in gold in the annals of the history of our people more than any Governor of Bauchi State since its creation, by this singular action, sir”, the Forum further disclosed.
While expressing gratitude to the Governor for the courageous move, the forum assured of its dedicated support and prayers to enable the Governor continue the noble task of advancing and modernizing Bauchi State.
The Forum stated: “We, the members of the Zaar (Sayawa) Clerics Consultative Forum (ZCCF) of Talawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government Areas of lauchi State wish to express our appreciation to God Almighty for preserving our lives to see this new year 2025 in sound health. We want to especially thank you, Your Excellency for your proactive leadership in governing Bauchi State with fairness, justice, equity, good conscience, and inclusivity”.
The Clergies asserted that th exemplary leadership of the Governor has provided the enabling environment for the rapid, all-round development been witnessed across the state.
“We have been keenly following your administration Your Excellency, and have observed how you have been very fair and balanced carrying along all the people of Bauchi State without discrimination whatsoever”, the forum said.
While commending the Governor for his unbiased leadership style, the forum urged him to continue in the same path for the good of Bauchi State and the Country at large.
“We acknowledge and commend the significant strides your administration has made in uplifting the welfare of workers by implementing the new national minimum wage”, the Clergies added.
“Your Excellency, our Governor sir, we want to assure you that this significant development regarding the establishment of the Sayawa Chiefdom has brought immense joy and happiness to the lives of all Zaar people, both Christians and Muslims as well as our neighbors and well-wishers. Indeed, when the righteous rule, the people rejoice Proverbs 29:2 as it is the case in our State today”, the press release said.
