Aminu Saleh college begins PGD in Criminology, Security studies, others

The Aminu Saleh college of education Azare has disclosed plans to commence Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Criminology, Security Studies among other fields of studies.

The Provost of the college, Professor Sadiya Asabe Mohammed gave the hint during the orientation lectures for Diploma and Post Graduate courses organized by the college’s Investment and Consultancy Services Ltd.

“The College has concluded plans to introduce more additional courses in affiliation with federal university Duste (FUD) which would soon be mounted to include, Postgraduate Diploma in Criminology and Security Studies, Environmental Management, Diploma in Agro-Business and Criminology Studies”, Professor Sadiya said.

The Provost while Congratulating the Students on the successful commencement of their studies in the prestigious College, assured them of the College’s committment towards providing a conducive environment for Teaching and Learning.

She urged the students to make good use of the knowledge and experience they gained during the orientation.

In his welcome address, the General Manager COLLINVEST Ltd Dr Kabiru Baraya Congratulated the newly admitted student for gaining admission into College.

He further explain activities of COLLINVEST with regards to its affiliation with University of Maiduguri, Processes of Admissions, Registration and Certifications among others.

He therefore challenge them to be good in character during their studies in the College, while assuring them on the timely released of their results.

Our Corresspondent reports that the event was marked with exchange of pleasantries and presentation of papers on Rules and Regulations by Dr Yakubu Abdullahi Yarima.

Others who made presentations include Dr. Gambo Adamu Danladi on Students – Teacher Relationship, Lectures and Assessment by Bala Yunusa Tilde and Examination Conduct which was delivered by Abdulrasheed Dalhatu.

The Lectures was part of the orientation to the newly admitted Students on the Rules and Regulations of the College, Examinations, Norms and Values as well proper conduct in the pursuit of their studies in the College.
