Rival youths clash: Bauchi imposes 24 hrs curfew on Yelwa community

Bauchi state government has imposed a 24 hours curfew on the whole of Yelwa Community of the state following a fortnight rival clashes which resulted to lost of two lives.
The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi state command, Umar Mamman Sanda stated this on Saturday when he visited the area in an on the spot assessment.
While addressing some of the members of the community affected by the crisis, CP Sanda urged them to remain law-abiding and not resort to taking laws into their hands.
The CP who warned that trouble makers will not be tolerated by the police, assured that the police will get into the root cause of the upheaval with a view to bringing the culprits to book.
He said that the police will be all out to ensure full compliance to the curfew.
