Successful Primaries: Bauchi APC Guber Candidate lauds party, other contenders, says PDP has failed Bauchi people

Former Chief of Air staff, Air Marshal Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar has expressed gratitude to the All Progressive Congress (APC) members and the people of Bauchi state over his emergence as the Governorship candidate of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Ambassador Sadique Baba had scored 370 out of the total number 1,021 votes cast to defeat more six others to fly the party’s flag in the coming 2023 general elections.
The Gubernatorial candidate who was interacting with Journalists at his residence during the weekend, said that the main focus of his party now is to work towards defeating the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
“Our focus now is how to defeat the PDP come 2023. We are a formidable force and the APC is battle ready to wrestle power in order to make things better in the area of health and education”, Sadique assured.
“What we are doing now after winning the party gubernatorial ticket is how to ensure that we wrestle power from the PDP because it has failed the people of Bauchi state”, Ambassador Sadique declared.
The APC Guber flag bearer opined that for the country to win the fight against insecurity bedeviling it, multifaceted approach need to be adopted.
“The fight against insecurity should be economical, political and physical. If we take the multifaceted approach, the war will be won”, he said.
The former Air force boss commended the Federal Government for the physical approach by making funds available to procure required equipment to fighting insecurity in the country.
While stressing that collaboration is most important in the fight, Ambassador Sadique assured that if elected as the next Governor of Bauchi in 2023, his administration will adopt the multifaceted approach in securing in securing the state in order to maintain peace among the citizens.
“We were able to change the narratives positively in the Air Force, today we have the best in health services and education because of what we were able to do. By the grace of God, if elected, we will use the same approach in Bauchi state”, he added.
Baba Abubakar commended the delegates for believing in his abilities to be the party’s flag bearer in the 2023 General elections assuring that he will not let them down if eventually elected as the Governor.
He also assured that he will work with other contestants to ensure that the APC faced the general elections as a united entity stressing that it is only through unity that the party can win the election.
According to him, One of the contestants has visited him to congratulate and assured him that he is ready to work for the victory of the party.
“We are a family, and I am confident that there will be no problem”, the APC governorship said.
