Another Bauchi APC chieftain, Audu Sule Katagum quits

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi, Arc. Audu Sule Katagum has quit his party membership, alleging that the principle upon which he joined the party has been jettisoned.

The party chieftain who is also a former Chief of staff during the immediate past adminstration made his decision known in a letter to the Ward Chairman of the APC in
Nassarawa/Bakin Kasuwa Ward
Azare.

“After thorough consultation with my supporters and family members, I have come
the conclusion that the principles for which I joined the APC in 2014 are sadly
no longer there”, he said.

“I have served the party diligently from 2015 to 2019 during the administration of
Barr. M.A Abubakar as Chief of Staff and Deputy Governor, and have been active
in its promotion from 2019 to date”, the APC chieftain added.

The former Chief of staff further said, “it is therefore with a sense of honour that I tender my resignation as a member of
the APC please find enclosed, membership card No.BAKAT /02007900-(10-02-201

Our Corresspondent reports that the resignation letter was copied to the state Chairman of the APC, among others.
