ATAP’s SUG greets colleagues on the event of 2022 Sallah period, advises them on timely resumption

As Muslims across the globe celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festivities, the Students Union Government (SUG), Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi chapter has sent a congratulatory message to fellow students, wishing them a happy celebration.

The congratulatory message which was signed by the Public Relations Officer of the SUG, Comrade Abubakar Muhammadu, said the message of goodwill followed the declaration of 11th Monday and 12th Tuesday by the federal Government of Nigeria through the office of the minister of interior Mr. Rauf Aregbesola as public Holidays to mark this year’s Eidil-kabir.

The SUG recalled that the declaration of the Sallah break was contained in a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr. Shuaibu Balgore and made available to newsmen in Abuja.

He further recalled that the minister congratulated Nigerians in home and diaspora over the occasion of the sallah festival.

“Similarly, the S.U.G ATAP Polytechnic chapter Bauchi used the medium to celebrate with its entire students over the sallah celebration”, he said.

“SUG equally wishes those that would travel back to their destinations a successful trip”, the PRO said.

He reminded the students that they are expected to resume immediately after the Break on 13th Wednesday, July 2022.

“By resuming on the above mentioned date, it will allow the ongoing screening exercise to continue as it would end that day.

“Remember people around you with your sacrifices made during the period as it is time for sober reflection among the believers and the adherents of other religions”, the goodwill message said.
