Bauchi PDP stalwart defects to APC, says family, friends aware of his decision

A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Wakili Abdu Moh’d Misau has offered reasons that prompted him to quit the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC)..
Hon. Wakili Abdu who holds the traditional title of Ganuwan Misau said in a press release that he has been in the PDP for over two decades.
“I have already spoken to my family, friends and political associates about my decision to move on”, he said.
“PDP, my Home for more than two Decades. Alhamdulillah!
I’m grateful to Almighty Allah and the amazing people in my circle, particularly my supporters and relations for these pleasant years”, he said.
According to him, during the years under review, he was at peace with himself.
“In these decades, I was at peace with myself and focused much to the development and success of the party in many elections. I felt appreciated for everything because I enjoyed quality mentorship, love, and support from some of the people who are leaders and still active in our politics today”, the former PDP member said.
“They can attest to my character, loyalty, selflessness, and commitment to whichever cause I took part in. It must be underlined that I was a comfortable senior civil servant till 1991 When I join party politics”, Wakili Abdu noted.
“One thing I still hold so dear is the network of what I hope to be a lasting friendship and mentorship in the party. They include, Alh.Mohammed Bello kirfi (Wazirin Bauchi), His Excellency Ahmed Adamu muazu (Walin Bauchi), Alh. Kaulaha aliyu (Chigarin katagum), Sen Abdul Ahmed Ningi (Walin Ningi), Alh. Garba Muhammad Noma (Jarman Bauchi), Barr. Ahmad Ibrahim Dandija (Maidalan Misau) And Alh. Abdulmalik Mahmood (Baraden Katagum)”, he maintained.
“On this background, let me use this opportunity to inform the public that I have joined the All Progressive Congress, (APC) *in reaction to the total neglect of my community and the good people of Misau Local Government by the current PDP led administration in the state, with full hope that the incoming APC administration of Air marshall Sadiq B Abubakar will give Misau LG its Rightfull position in Bauchi state.
