I Was Listed In The Campaign Council Of Obi But My Name Was missing – PONA Co-ordinator, Sani


National Co-ordinator of Peter Obi Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed Northern Ambassadors (PONA) worldwide Ambassador, Sani Muhammad Sani has cried out that he has sacrifice so much for Obi campaign without financial support from anyone only to find his name missing in the 1,234 Presidential Campaign Council of the Labour Party.


Malam Sani, a veteran journalist revealed Saturday in a press released that he has spent so much and sacrifice his job because of harassment from some quarters where he was challenged that he cannot work for Obi when one of the strong contestant in the 2023 presidential race is his employer.


He stated that he is in full support of the national executive council of the Labour Party for rejecting the Doyin Okupe list adding that there is no way the party National Executive exe cannot play a role in compiling the lists and partake in arranging itinerary of the campaign.


He stressed that the party National Executive under Barr  Julius Abure sweated for long to keep the party going before those craving for positions join the Labour Party team.


“The Julius Abure EXCO must be respected, recognize and consulted before all national decision of the paty is taking.” He added.


He further revealed that the list showcase most of those that don’t have the party or the presidential candidate H.E. Peter Obi and his running mate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed at heart and have contributed nothing to project them positively but were only in the campaign team because of lobbying to grab an opportunity as parasites always do.


Sani added that he was earlier listed to serve in the National Media team as PONA National Co-ordinator by the National Media of the Labour Party because of his immense contribution in campaigning for ObiDatti only to find his name missing.


Sani said what the national executive of the Labour Party is doing is to mould the party into pan Nigerian political party deviating from the mistakes of the APC and the PDP which make a difference.
