Former Adamawa Governor, Nggilari appointed as APC Presidential Campaign Council member

Former Governor of Adamawa state, Barr. James Bala Nggilari has been appointed to serve as member in the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential campaign council.

The appointment of the ex-Adamawa Governor was contained in a letter signed by the Director General of the Council, Governor of Plateau state, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong.

Dated 22 October, 2022, the letter read in parts,
“On behalf of APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), I humbly wish to inform you of your nomination
to serve as Member Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council”.

The letter described the nomination of Barr. Nggilari to serve as member of the Council as voluntary and a clarion call to National duty.

The DG while expressing gratitude for having the former governor as member in the campaign team, believed that he will discharge his
responsibility towards ensuring that the campaign council conducts an effective and message-driven campaign that could lead the APC to victory in the 2023
presidential election.

“Together, not only can we ensure victory for our party in the February 2023 election, but we shall also move Nigeria along the path of national greatness by building on the achievements of our party and the
President Muhammadu Buhari administration in providing progressive good governance to Nigerians”, the letter said.

The letter tasked the former Adamawa Governor to work in his state and geo-political zones with other leaders towards achieving
success for the party.
